Tapas de Beirut is a Lebanese restaurant with a terrace in Torrevieja. The concept pairs the flavours of Beirut with the Spanish habit of sharing small plates: the menu covers cold and hot mezze (hummus, baba ganoush, tabbouleh, fattoush, falafel, batata harra and more), dishes from the grill and desserts such as baklava and knafeh. There are also tasting selections of 10 or 15 tapas and a kids' menu, and according to reviews there is a lunch menu with lentil soup. Visitors praise the bold, authentic flavours and the friendly, multilingual staff; one especially recommends the lamb chops with garlic sauce and the bacon-wrapped dates, and mentions the sea views. A few reviews mention slower service, for example when only one waitress was working.
Guest favourites: shish taouk, batata harra, tabbouleh, fattoush, falafel, lamb cutlets with garlic sauce, bacon-wrapped dates, roasted cauliflower, grilled halloumi; a lunch menu with lentil soup, main course, drink and coffee. Lunch menu about €12.90.
