Restaurante Paco Baile is a family-run restaurant in Santa Pola, open since 1996 and specialising in rice dishes and paella. In September 2023 chef Tiel Baile won the award for the best paella of the Valencian Community at the 62nd International Valencian Paella Contest in Sueca. The Valencian paella is cooked in an aromatic broth with plenty of rosemary, and the menu also includes caldero and fresh fish and seafood. Visitors recommend starting with grilled red prawns and prawn croquettes and finishing with the homemade tiramisu. There are two dining rooms and a terrace, and reviews often mention the cosy, homely atmosphere and friendly service.
