Weekly street market in the Altabix district of Elche, one of the town's municipal markets known locally as mercadillos. According to Elche City Council it has 86 stalls and is a mixed market selling both food and general goods. The food stalls offer fruit, vegetables, herbal products, olives, pickles and cheese. The other stalls sell clothes, shoes, gifts and small items. Besides its street markets, Elche also has permanent municipal food markets, including the Mercado Central and the markets on Plaza de Madrid and Plaza de Barcelona.
