Gastrobar La Malmirá is a characterful spot in El Campello decorated in a Frida Kahlo theme, which one visitor describes as a quiet oasis on a busy street. In the morning it serves coffee and tostadas, and later tapas and Spanish dishes such as cachopo, croquettes, patatas bravas and torreznos. There is a wide selection of wines to go with the food, and bottles can also be bought to take away. The bar hosts wine tastings with food pairings and, according to reviews, stand-up comedy evenings too. Visitors praise the quality of the food, the homemade cakes and the warm service, including from the owners, Sonia and Luca.
