Daikichi Beach is an intimate Japanese restaurant in PAU 5 by Playa de San Juan, specialising in kaiseki-style Japanese fine dining and an omakase tasting menu prepared in front of guests. According to Almanaque Gastronómico it is the sister of the casual Daikichi in central Alicante, and the kitchen applies Japanese techniques to local produce, including aged and smoked fish and Miyazaki wagyu beef. Guests praise the nigiri, sashimi, cold ramen and oysters, as well as the quality of the fish and seafood. The best seats are at the bar, where you can watch part of the chef's work, and the drinks list includes a selection of sake with tasting notes. Visitors recommend it for special occasions, although one review mentions a long wait for food.
