Circo Pau 5 is a branch of the CIRCO burger chain in the PAU 5 district, near San Juan beach — according to the chain's website, its third restaurant in Alicante and a more intimate spot than the one in the centre. The chain has been going since 2017 and serves burgers made from aged Spanish beef (vaca vieja), either as a thick patty or smashed, with sauces and toppings made in-house. The menu also has starters such as nachos with homemade tortilla chips and guacamole, chicken wings and salads, plus a Kid Burger for children. Guests praise the nachos, the brioche-bun burgers and the wide gluten-free offer, although one review mentions a burger with raw meat inside. Tables can be booked online, and there is also takeaway and delivery.
